1．表示花费的几个词cost，spend，take，pay怎么区分？
（1）cost通常指的是某物需要花费多少钱，或某物价值多少，通常为cost sb. some money。例如：
These chairs cost 40 dollars each. 这些椅子每把40美元。
The meal cost us 30 pounds. 这顿饭花了我们30英镑。
How much /What does it cost? 这东西值多少钱?
（2）spend通常为“某人花费多少时间或金钱做某事”，通常为sb. spend some money/time on sth. /（in）doing sth.。例如：
He spends too much on clothes. 他花太多的钱买衣服。
Mother spent the whole afternoon in cleaning the room.
我妈妈花了整个下午来打扫房间。
I have spent all my energy on this. 我把所有的精力都花费在这上面。
